While Kiev burns …

Every night when the Sochi Olympics come on (and the pederasts at NBC suck up to the dictator Putin), my wife and I wonder how long the demos in Ukraine will go on before that country’s mob boss president asks for fraternal assistance from the Kremlin.

Seems he has not decided to wait for the games to be over. Anne Applebaum, prize-winning columnists at the Washington Post, is on top of things:

Applebaum wrote a very clear-eyed book on the Soviet Gulag. She hasn’t lost her touch.

The EU of course will now demonstrate that its “soft power” approach is worthless while our “fuck the EU” State Department will prove feckless as always.
